This process is original photography, ink jet printed over gold, silver and other metallic leaf on hand-textured aluminum composite panels, flooded with resin.  Light reflects off the metallic leaf and back through the photograph, illuminating the image from behind, creating an amazingly luminous picture that glows from within.  The hand-textured ground and deep, optically pure resin provide great depth, clarity and a mirror smooth finish.  This body of work points to and celebrates the transcendental value of Life itself manifest in common natural forms.
